Maurizio Carucci: riding his Cinelli to open BAM!

Wednesday, 8 June, 2022

There are people who rediscover themselves thanks to a journey.
Maurizio Carucci is one of them.

His journey starts from Albera Ligure and sees him leave on his Cinelli Hobootleg Geo towards Taranto. A 1300 km long ride, together with his friend Massimo Martina, who takes him to his father’s hometown, who passed away years earlier.
A slow and non-polluting journey, a cathartic experience discovering one’s roots, which flows into a highly personal album in which the leader of Ex Otago writes everything, without limits or fears: Respiro.

We will be able to listen to it together, for the first time live, on Friday 10th of June at BAM!
On Saturday 11th, however, Maurizio will tell us about the genesis of his bicycle trip and his somewhat counter-current choices that led him to create Cascina Barbàn, his farmer project.
Both events are obviously powered by Cinelli.

See you in two days, in Mantua!
